We are please to announce the appointment of Claude Martinez as President and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior.
In this capacity, Mr.Martinez will report to Patrick J. Choel, President of the LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics Group, which includes, in addition to Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain, Parfums Givenchy, Parfums Kenzo, Benefit, Bliss, Fresh, Hard Candy, Urban Decay, Make Up For Ever and the Laflachère group. The appointment will be effective in June.
Mr. Martinez joins Parfums Christina Dior from Unilever, which he joined in 1983. He has been President and CEO of Elida Fabergé in Paris for the past four years, having recently been responsible for the merger of two major businesses of Unilever in France, and was MArketing Director for the COmpany's Personal Products division in London from 1983 to 1987. Previously, he was a manager with Young & Rubicam, which he joined in 1979. Mr.Martinez graduated from HEC Business School in Paris.
